Shahar’s drawings unfold a visual language in which nature, the body, and human stories are intertwined. Through recurring images of plants, drops, flowers, birds, and body fragments, the works move between observation of the natural world and an ongoing engagement with the body, the female body, memory, and personal experience.

Working across dip-pen ink, oil pastel, watercolor, and printmaking, Shahar uses line, repetition, and open compositions to create a sense of movement, flow, and growth. The dialogue with her sculptural practice also returns to the drawings, influencing their textures, surfaces, and the way images are constructed.
