“Fair is foul, and foul is fair” Macbeth, William Shakespeare.

A collaborative project between mother and daughter, combining several techniques - pottery, design, and illustration.

The crow is a fascinating bird, intelligent and curious, but is usually conveyed in media and culture as a sign of death and evil. In our creation, we use crows as a symbol for both light and darkness. The crow, in our work, is a complicated figure that combines good and evil. Other images that have reappeared are the drops, branches, and abstract flocks of birds, which are motifs that repeat in our work. The works are in black, and in black and white.
